Today , Bhoomi organized a plantation drive at DAV College of Education Hoshiarpur . The students of B Ed participated in the programme enthusiastically and took a pledge to protect the environment. President of Bhoomi Dr Rajender Sharma administered the oath to the students to work for protection and enrichment of the environment. Mr Manoj Sharma highlighted the importance of the environmental protection projects and need for conserving and harvesting of rain water. Mr . Rajat Kuthiala,Press Secretary Mr Pankaj Sharma , Joint Secretary , Mr Naval Jain Project incharge of Rain water Harvesting project and Mr Sanjiv Kumar resource person were present on this occasion . Principal Mr D L Anand , teachers and other staff members of the college were also present. Mrs Kuljeet , teacher of the college celebrated her birthday by planting the first sapling.
